1. Services
Darkins Studio Tech provides photography, videography and related creative services as described in the agreed quotation, booking confirmation or contract.
2. Booking and payment
Define when a booking becomes confirmed, how much is due upfront, when the balance is due and what payment methods you accept.
3. Cancellation and rescheduling
Set clear notice periods, treatment of booking payments, weather contingencies and the process for moving a date.
4. Client responsibilities
Include access to venues, permissions, punctuality, accurate event schedules and responsibility for obtaining permissions for locations or participants where relevant.
5. Delivery
State normal turnaround, gallery availability, archive period and what happens after a gallery expires.
6. Copyright and licence
Specify who owns copyright and what licence the client receives. Commercial branding use should be clearly distinguished from personal use where necessary.
7. Portfolio use
Explain whether and how you may display images in your portfolio, social media, competitions or marketing, and any opt-out arrangements.
8. Limitation and contingency
Set out how equipment failure, illness, severe weather, venue restrictions and events outside reasonable control are handled, subject to applicable consumer law.
9. Governing law
Insert the jurisdiction appropriate to your registered business and customers.
